I never thought that cygnets looked like ugly ducklings. Cute.
Here's a picture of a pukeko. It was harder to get a picture of a pukeko, because they didn't have to stick by and protect any baby chicks (where as the adult swans figured they could take us out if necessary and decided not to fly away). We also saw a lot of shags and some tuis and ganets, but I didn't have my camera ready for any of those.
